The Dylish Experience is led by Dylan — a host, creative, and cultivator of atmosphere with over 17 years in hospitality and the art of gathering. He is supported by his life partner, Violet — a steady presence and co-creator in the vision.
It began in Cape Town as The 13aker’s Dozen:
bread made by hand, meals shared slowly, and tables where people stayed longer than they planned. The food mattered, yes — but the feeling mattered more.
In Clarens, the table expanded. Dylish Artisan Breads grew into markets, open doors, firelit evenings, and familiar faces returning again and again. We learned that community isn’t something you organise — it’s something that forms when a space feels good to be in.
Over time, we understood that our work was never just food or gatherings.
It was connection — shaped through atmosphere, presence, and the way people feel in the room.
We manage the environment with intention — the welcome, the flow, the ease in the room —
so people can arrive fully, feel present, and connect.
Today, we don’t simply fill a space — we hold it. We pay attention to the light, the tone, the pacing, the underlying warmth — the quiet details people may not name, but always feel.
Elegance is soft.
